I am convinced that current NHL commish Gary Bettman has anti Canada agenda when it comes to having more teams in Canada.He has lied to the Canadian NHL fans time and time again.Every time a Canadian business men or group tried to by a NHL team and move it Bettman would step in and sabotage the deal.

When both the Quebec and Winnipeg NHL teams moved from Canada to the states fans in both cities begged the NHL to step in and keep the teams where they where.Mr Bettmans reply was the NHL will not step in to keep a team in any city.Then he turns around and does just that stepping in to keep teams in Pittsburg,Buffalo,Nashville and now Phoenix.Also when groups in both Winnipeg and Quebec asked to be awarded new franchises Gary Bettman rejected them stating the NHL will never return to a city or area where a team failed yet we have new teams in Minniasota,Colarodo and Atalanta.Three places where teams failed.Gary Bettman has shown he is out to get the NHL out of Canada at any cost.Gary Bettman is a two faced liar pure and simple.

I have no idea what Bettmans problem is with Canada but he obviously has one he actions and lies show that with out a doubt.He moved the NHL offices from Toronto to New York and I wouldn't be surprised to see him try and move the NHL hall of fame to the states as well.If he did i can gurantee the stanley cup would never leave Canada as the government would sieze it as a national treasure.

That would teach him a lesson! And perhaps get him fired? Did the Canadian teams really fail, or did he simply decide to move them?

The only problem the two teams where having was low attendance and the owners at the time wanted out.Gary Bettman then announced new owners would be found in the states and the temas would be moving.

No he didn;t the NHL didn't do a thing to try and keep the teams in Canada.Yet in the states they bend over backwards to keep teams where they are.

Nah i dont think its dead in Canada but its a rising sport in the states It got big here a couple years ago but i kno for sure that if the canada people kno its gunna be dead they will do something about it.

I'm not saying the NHL is dead here Trew.I am saying that for some reason gary Bettman is trying to killed it off here.

how can he get away with that? Hockey and Canada are bonded together and anyone who thinks Hockey thinks Canada..................I remember when all teams had pretty much a total Canadian Team, Americans were rare and Europeans were rarer..........now there are players from everywhere.

Gary Bettman is a two faced fool and for some reason the nhl board of directors has chosen to turn a blind eye to it.
