[The Brahama Bull]

I have had this idea bouncing around my head for while it came to me after reading the PWI Almanac.Take what they have in the almanac each year and expand on it and make it an wrestling encyclopedia.

Have a year by year history of wrestling
Wrestler profiles
Championship histories for active and defunct titles.
Complete ppv results
Hall Of Fame lists

All this info would be put in a disk set so the question is would any wrestling fans be intrested in such a set of such disks.

it could be a very intensive research, would it cover all the wrestling promotions, there were quite a few before the WWF bought them up

It would cover all promotions and yes it would take intensive research.I know if some one did make something like this I would be very intresed in it myself.

It's a great idea, but not really one for making money, it would be more a labor of love. Only diehard wrestling fans and those writing books or doing family research would actually buy it I think

i know a guy who already built an exaustive database similar to what your talking about... oldie ya know who i'm talking about... our favorite brazilian from the now defunct OWMF TheHorseman

It's very good idea,but difficult to achieve for a simple wrestling amateur/fan wrestling as are many of us on this forum and beyond.While I watching wrestling since 1993, it's hard for me to remember many things {events, wrestlers,dates etc.}.But in a way that information is supplied by so many sites that we find on the Internet.For what you propose, need a dedicated work to collect as many informations from several sources even if we know many things.But your proposal is worth taken into account :)
