Recently, I've been infected with a RAT (Remote Access Transmission). If anyone knows what a RAT is and how to deal with it, please tell me what to do. I don't really feel secure with someone having access to everything I have.
Thanks a lot in advance,
Jason.

ahh i wish I knew, maybe try a google or youtube search?
I'm good with computers but I have no idea what to do with this.
I hope it get's better for jason =)
Call the internet service provider and have their IP changed maybe?
Edit:
I talked to Jeff and he said changing their IP address should fix the problem, but its not a guarantee.
it doesn't sound like something you want in your computer

I would suggest Jason make backups of things he wants to keep ie videos and pics and then format his hardrive. But thats a last resort.

Ask... your... Jeff... ?
I thought I was safe having an external hard drive [1 TB] where I was storing everything but the other day while plugging it in there was a spark and now it won't even go on, I guess the best back up for files is storing them on discs
Nah thats quite alright. We're pretty much over and I'm moving back in with my grandma tomorrow so I'd rather he stay at least 2 feet away from me.

Couldn't handle Kaiden, eh?
sorry to hear that Dee, if hes worth anything he will try to get you back
No, he was wayy too boring which caused me to be even more depressed than I already am and I've been struggling with anger a lot more lately and I warned him in the beginning about my moods (Trey knows about how they can be) but he said he could handle it. Well today he decided to tell me he couldn't stand being in the house sitting there depressed... "because of you!" was what he said when his entire family has told me he's been depressed since he was nine years old. So to blame it on me was wrong in the first place. Then he took BOTH cell phones that I paid for and said I can't have either of them because they're in his name. Ah, either way. I'm home. I'm staying home and I'm staying single for a while and concentrating on my little man.

It sounds like he wasn't worth it anyway... But if he loves you, he will admit he was wrong, otherwise you'll find ways to spend your time :) Kaiden will see to that!
kids will keep you busy, but it's a great way to stay busy
Yes he's definitely becoming more of a handful. Trying to crawl and walk all the time! Can't keep him in one spot for more than 10 minutes, but he's SO much fun to play with! And his little smile can literally turn my mood around the second I see it.

It sounds like you need him as much as he needs you :)

There might be a way of getting it to run... Are any of your family or friends good with hardware? Taking it out of the case and connecting it directly to the computer might work
