Bubba The Love Sponge's staff member Brent Hatley posted some harsh comments on Twitter (BTLSRadio) in response to TNA fans that don't like Bubba:

Still though Bubba knows Hogan and lets face it Hogan is a legned in prowrestling.This staffer insulted wrestling as a whole fans.officials,wrestlers and I'm sure Hulk will have a few words for Bubba about this and that staffer will get an earful as well.I just don't see what the big surprise was in Bubba being released he has benn on TV what maybe 5 or 6 times since Hogan came to TNA?They really wheren't using him so whay keep him around and have to pay him for sitting on his rear end?

there was no reason for him being there in the first place....he carried his friendship too far, unless he went there knowing it would be a short stay or he thought [delusionlly] that he earned his spot, this whole thing was a farce...........TNA doesn't have the bankroll WCW had and they should not be throwing money away like that
